We are a church plant from the Vineyard Church of Columbus, and are located in Sylvania, Ohio.

Our mission.
We exist to be the presence of Christ to those who don't know Him and pursue Him with those who do.

Our values.

• Reality - We want to discover how to follow Jesus in our actual everyday lives.
• Relevance - We want everything we do to be understandable and non-hyped.
• Relationships - We want to experience authentic relationships with Jesus and the people around us.
• Responsiveness - We want to grow to listen and respond to God individually and as a church.
• Risk - We want to take steps that require faith in our actual lives.

Our mission is to simply clear the bushes and obstacles that people of regarding Jesus and to give them a clear picture of who He really is. The church is one of His ideas and although it is a community of flawed people, He has been able to use it for the last 2,000 years to bring about change, transformation, and life to people who otherwise would be hopeless.

Unfortunately, the "church" also has a history that includes manipulation, deceit, and inflicting pain. From the beginning, the mission of the Vineyard has been to be a people, a tribe, a community that points people in the direction of Jesus as the one hope for humanity.

No church will ever be the perfect church.

When looking for a church the best question to ask is this: What is the direction of this church? Does this church make me fall in love with some specific program, some specific method, some style of music, some way of doing children's ministry, some zealous and dynamic leader... OR does this church direct me towards a deeper and more intimate relationship with Jesus?

Our hope is to be the latter type of community here in Sylvania, Ohio. We all work jobs in the area, some of them better than others; we all live somewhat normal lives; we all like pizza; we all have gone through relational problems, family issues, personal struggles, heroic moments, and have decided that following Christ is the only way to experience life abundantly.

Lastly, we all want to model a community where Jesus is king...a community where we give Him full access to our lives and to this church.
